Handbuilding Workshop

In this workshop we’ll focus on hand building and learning different techniques that enable you to make almost any desired shape out of a simple ball of clay.

We’ll start by making a pinch pot, followed by slab building a mug and finishing the session with trying our hands at coiling.

Afterwards, your 3 pieces will be fired and glazed for you, in the colours of your choice out of the glazes I have available.

The workshop has space for 2 people, is £60 per person and lasts for 2.5 - 3 hours.

The price includes pre-wedged clay and glazes, bisque firing and glaze firing.

Your pieces will be ready in about 4 weeks after your workshop for pick up at the studio, or can be shipped for an additional fee (+~ £5).

I recommend clipped nails for the workshop and a t-shirt or jumper that doesn’t mind getting a few clay smudges on it.
